There is beautiful pieces of artwork as well as trinkets and gifts. The opal selection is smaller than some other shop front however well priced in comparison. The entry to the kangaroo feeding is free however a donation is recommended to help support the work that is all self funded to look after the animals.

We were able to feed two larger kangaroos through the fence and got to meet two younger ones.

It was a good educational experience to learn more about this animal and hands on as we could pat the youngest kangaroo there. However I would have liked a bit more interaction with the animals which was hard to do through the fence especially when a large group is present.

I would recommend this if you are in Coober Pedy as a cheap family friendly activity.
